Research Interests

I am broadly interested in identifying the mechanisms that underly the dynamics and structure of natural systems, which I explore using a combination of modelling and statistical inference.

More specifically, I am interested in the structure and dynamics of eco-evolutionary feedback loops, which underpin the dynamics of our ecosystems.

I want to look at how the dynamics of the feedback change with different genetic, ecological, environmental architecture.

I intend to design models (IPMs, IBMs) depicting different architectures, and fit them to time series of real systems (e.g. the great tit, guppy system), to identify the most likely architecture and characterise its behaviour.
